1. Open Microsoft Word and navigate to Insert > Object.

But there is another way which can be used to embed an excel worksheet in Microsoft Word.

1. Open Microsoft Word, click on the drop down menu in the quick access toolbar and select “More Commands”.

2. Open the “Choose commands from” drop down menu and select all commands. Now, find “Excel Spreadsheet” from the list of commands, click Add and apply.

3. It will show a small Microsoft Excel spreadsheet icon in the quick access toolbar.
